one of the most efficient boilers we've tested. There should also be no problem getting the manufacturer's claimed 9.8 L per minute of hot water, as we found its domestic hot water heating output exceeded the manufacturer's stated value. The boiler passed our limited durability test with no problems.
Installing the boiler is straightforward, because there's a jig for installing the pipe work before fitting the boiler. straightforward for the householder to use too.
It’s one of the few boilers we’ve tested which reaches the very highest efficiency standards, matching its claims to meet the A Sedbuk standard. As well as offering excellent efficiency, this boiler is also reassuringly easy to use.
Its instruction manuals are well organised and the controls on the boiler are simple

This combination boiler from Worcester is a satisfactory boiler, but there's no hot water temperature control button, poor instructions, and it's not as easy to use as others on test.
Servicing is reasonably easy, but the pressure switch is awkward to get to. Its central heating and hot water output makes it suitable for a small flat, but it's available in a larger 28 kW output version. With a measured efficiency of 89%, it was slightly lower than the claimed 90.1% – its efficiency places it in the Sedbuk B band.
